About Us

Satire Brewing Company is a family-owned brewpub in Thornton, where fun and creativity flow with every batch. Owners Todd and Staci Waufle run the show, with their kids involved at every level. Staci handles the design, cleans, and pitches in at the bar, while their son Tanner runs the kitchen, The Loaded Squirrel, where quirky dishes and bread made from Todd's grandmother's 100-year-old recipe take center stage. Their three daughters balance school, basketball, and the occasional shift to support the family business.

The brewery’s journey began when Staci bought a homebrewing kit for $40 at an estate sale. After two years of dust, Todd brewed his first batch indoors, triggering Staci’s signature ''What’s that smell?'' response. He soon moved the brewing to the backyard, where he crafted 293 small batches. Eventually, they turned their hobby into a nano-brewery, starting with a 3-barrel system. The beer is always evolving—sometimes traditional, sometimes wild—but always with a story to tell.

Satire Brewing is also committed to giving back, donating 10% of sales to local charities. So, when you sip a cold one, you're helping the community. And, in an effort to support this, they encourage cash payments to reduce bank fees. It’s all about having fun and making a difference—cheers!
