Between October 26 and November 7, 2020 Unfinished Furniture Colorado, located in the Broomfield Plaza, will be donating 5% of all purchases to Bridge House Boulder.

Bridge House Boulder is a non-profit whose goal is to meet adults experiencing homelessness where they are and offer them opportunities to transform their lives. While they offer a range of services to assist their clients, their  Ready To Work program provides the most innovative and transformational solutions to homelessness in our community.

The Ready to Work Program - combines paid transitional employment in a social enterprise with housing and support services for one year, as a means to independence for adults experiencing homelessness. RTW operates in two locations– Boulder and Aurora, and has capacity to serve up to 94 “trainees” at one time.
RTW was founded on the concept that when given the opportunity, adults experiencing homelessness can and will seize the opportunity to work. Over 80% of adults experiencing homelessness are unemployed. Even in a thriving economy, it is difficult to find work due to poor work histories, criminal convictions or addiction. RTW gives trainees immediate access to employment where they immediately earn a wage, save money and contribute to the economy. Safe, affordable dormitory style housing is provided at 20% of the cost of a traditional unit. RTW offers a community of support that is sober and results-oriented. Our trainees graduate when they achieve mainstream employment and housing. Since inception, we have graduated over 200 people.
